Sweden has many areas with their own folk costume but not all areas.  In 1906 a special costume was designed so that all areas would have their own folk costume.  The blue and yellow of the Swedish flag was used in the special costume.  The skirt and bodice is made using royal blue from the flag and the apron is designed using the yellow of the flag.  The blue bodice and the yellow apron are both embroidered with white daisies.
